Furness Sure Start Children's Centres

Why register?

Why register?

The Government funding we get depends on how many people use our centres and facilities. By registering you will:

  • help us to get more funding, so we can offer even more resources and activities
  • make it easier for us to get relevant information to you about activities, events or updates you might need or find helpful
  • help us show we are reaching targets and reaching a wide range of people within our area, proving that we're an important part of the community.

How can I register?

Give us a call and we'll send you a registration form in the post. You can also pop in and see us to give us your details, or download and print our registration form.

It's your choice which centre you and your child attend. However, on some occasions certain groups or activities are available only to people living in a specific area due to funding.

Are sessions free?

All of our sessions are free, although there is always the option to give a donation if you would like.

Can I just drop in?

Everyone's welcome to drop in, but we'll ask you to register so that we can inform you of anything that is going on in the centre. All information will be kept confidential and secure.

Do I need to book sessions in advance?

Some sessions are drop-ins, where you can just turn up. Others require booking in advance, or are for specific age groups of children.

Take a look at our current timetable, which explains for each session whether you need to book first.
