Do you want to have fun while supporting children and young people participate in activities? We have just the role for you! Fun, rewarding, supportive, active, engaging, positively challenging.

Want to work for us?

We need staff who are fun, passionate and are excited about a challenge.

You will work in a team supporting the children and young people to participate fully in the activities, you are likely to be joining in and having a laugh with us all!

We will offer all the support you need, including training and development. We want you to have a rewarding and worthwhile experience with us.

What to expect...

Bucks Activity Project operates over weekends, evenings and school holidays throughout the year. It’s all about working as part of a team and having fun. Planning and delivering a range of activities and helping the staff with the safe care and engagement with children and young people.

If you want to gain experience working with children and like a lot of fun you would love working with us.

Could I work at Bucks Activity Project?

As long as you are 18 or over and are able to commit to working with us, then we’d love to hear from you.

What work is available?

We have a variety of opportunities available to suit most and flexibility that supports students at university or college!

8 hour annualised contracts - Work at least a Saturday or Sunday every weekend throughout the year

16 hour annualised contracts - Work at least every Saturday and Sunday every weekend throughout the year

Casual contracts - Zero hour contracts working at least one shift every 6 months - ideal for students who come home in the holidays and need to make some cash.

Will I be trained?

You will be trained and supported in all appropriate tasks.  Some of these include Safeguarding, First Aid, Moving and Handling and Medication Administration. Many of the skills you need will be learnt as you meet the children and you need to be able to adapt to different ways of working to best meet the needs of each individual
