Action for Children Dorset runs a number of different services for children, young people and their families across the county.
We work with children and young people across Dorset to ensure they have the love, support and opportunity they need to reach their potential.
This includes offering advocacy and a safe place to stay for homeless young people aged 16-25 through our Nightstop service.

Being a parent or carer to a child or young person can be challenging at times. We’re here to help you with our parenting programmes, Behaviours That Challenges Us Workshops and children's centres.
Find out more about how we support parents and carers.
We also work with professionals to help them find the right support for those in their care. If you're a professional, find out how we can work with you.
But we couldn't do all this without the support of our fantastic volunteers. If you'd like to find out how you can become a part of what we do, visit our volunteers page.
We are commissioned to run services on behalf of Dorset NHS Clinical Commissioning Group, Dorset Council, and BCP Council.
