For volunteers

After a successful application and DBS check you'll receive support and training and the chance to make a real difference to local people's lives.

Dorset Nightstop hosts and drivers

Nightstop hosts offer a safe, secure bed for the night and a meal to homeless young people aged 16-25. Volunteer hosts welcome each young person on a temporary basis for up to three nights while a more permanent solution can be found.

Nightstop drivers provide safe transport for young people from the referrer to their Nightstop host's home.

Volunteer drivers

Many of the children and families we work with don't have access to a vehicle or other transport links. Volunteer drivers play an important role in giving young people access to our activities and parents/carers access to parenting groups.

Parenting Services volunteers

Volunteers who have completed a parenting programme can support other parents to access the courses and put their parenting strategies into practice.
