Transitions

Transitions supports young people who have been looked after at home or looked after and accommodated by social work services.

What is the programme?

Transitions provides intensive support to those looking for work by sourcing appropriate training and/or providing quality employment opportunities across various employment sectors.

Support by a dedicated keyworker is offered to overcome the barriers into employment and training. Our flexible community based support will include meeting you in a venue you are comfortable with, including your own home.

Structured elements of the model enable you to complete a number of qualifications, including certificate of work readiness, youth achievements awards or arts awards.

Ongoing support is offered on an outreach basis for up to 12 months.

What will you get out of it?

We help you to break down barriers by supporting you to establish routine, participate in learning and experience work in real life situations.

We support you to improve your social, IT, literacy and numeracy skills using a range of tools.

Our support increases aspirations and helps you to access training, education and employment.
