Youthbuild is a construction based programme aimed at 16-24 year olds in Glasgow who have faced some barriers to entering employment.
The programme is delivered in our training centre over a 4 week period.
Youthbuild works to tackle the underlying issues that might be preventing you from entering and sustaining employment and capitalises on opportunities available.
Through a supported approach you can gain qualifications, experience and secure employment within the construction industry.
Support can last up to nine months depending upon your individual needs.
You will gain the following construction accredited certificates:
Participants will also benefit from a range of personal development and employability workshops including drugs/alcohol, offending, money skills/budgeting, sexual health, CVs, interview techniques, team work and presentation skills, employers expectations and independent travel.
