Child Health clinics

Free and informal drop-in health clinics run by health visitors, supported by your children's centre team and local volunteers. For parents and carers of children aged 0 to 3 years old.

  • Make it easy for you to access health advice and information
  • Help you to meet other local parents and make friends
  • Provide opportunities for your baby/toddler to explore and socialise with others.

Dads and Male Carers

Our aim is for dads and other male carers to feel comfortable attending all of our centre groups and services. Our Centres provide a warm welcome to all dads and male carers.

Family Support 

We work very closely with Worcestershire County Councils Targetted Family Support team. Family Support Workers can be allocated to your family to support with a number of difficulties you may experiencing at home with your child or young person. If you think you would benefit from a support worker, please call the Family Front Door on 01905 822666.

Groups for Parents

We know that being a Parent isn't always easy and unfortunately our children and young people don't arrive with a handbook. Our FREE groups for Parents can help with providing advice and support on; Behaviour management strategies, developing closer relationship with your child / teenager, Consequences and boundaries, exploring feelings and emotions, building confidences and self esteem and Play & stimulation. Speech and Language

Speech and Language Therapists work in our Centres to offer advice and information on all aspects of children's communication to parents, carers and Centre staff. They can be available to chat informally to parents and carers who are concerned about their child's talking and if necessary can discuss referring a child for speech and language therapy. A Communication Support Worker may also be available to assist the Therapists.
