Stoke-on-Trent Aiming High

January

January

Well the Christmas tree is down, the decorations have been packed away, and there is still enough chocolates left in the Stoke Aiming High office to keep us happy until next year!

We have hit the ground running in January, with a month of short break activities well under way and some exciting new developments to share with you about the service!

Card Payments

From 1st February 2016 we will be able to accept card payments, making it even easier for you to pay for your child's activities and transport. Give us a call on 01782 683129 to pay over the phone, or alternatively pop into the Dudson Centre to see us!

Website Development

Our website is now being updated on a regular basis by the Stoke Aiming High team. Keep checking back here for regular news and updates, important information, and up-to-date photographs of us in action!

Activity Availability

There are fishing sessions in April which do not appear in the current brochure. These are on Friday 1st and Wednesday 6th April, 10.00am - 2.00pm. Call our booking line on 01782 683129, or email: web.stokeontrent@actionforchildren.org.uk to book on.

In January we noticed that there were spaces left on Gifted Workshops, FRONTLINEdance and some Action for Children activities. Don't forget, you can call us at any time of the month to check availability, even if it's past the official cut off dates.

Can You Help Fundraise?

We would love to fundraise for more equipment, trips and activities for children and families in Stoke-on-Trent. Fundraising can be a fun and exciting way to try new things, meet new people and help to raise money for our service!

You could do a bake sale, hold a village fair or even take part in a fun-run, to raise money to help keep the delivery of the Aiming High Programme in tip-top condition!

Come along to the parent meetings on Monday 25th January between 1.00pm-2.30pm or 6.00pm-7.30pm to meet our Area Fundraiser, and find out ways that you can help.

Bring friends, relatives or other carers you might know, and have fun raising money for Aiming High!

Happy New Year!
