The purpose of this parent-led advisory board is to support and encourage the development of services provided at Torbay Children’s Centre for children and their families

What does the board do?

  • Provides an opportunity for parents and carers of children to voice their ideas and concerns on the delivery of services provided at Torbay Children’s Centres
  • Ensures the services on offer consistently meet local needs and contribute to improving outcomes for children and their families
  • Liaises with Torbay Children’s Centre and their local partners
  • Monitors the evaluation provided by Torbay Children’s Centres and make recommendations to improve service delivery if necessary.

Who can join the board?

  • Parents and carers of children who use the services of Torbay Children’s Centres
  • Anyone connected/associated with the Torbay Children’s Centres
  • Other delivery partners working with the Torbay Children’s Centres
  • Anyone with a specific interest in the group who wishes to help support the group in achieving its aims.
