Wellbeing Practitioner (WBP) Referrals (Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) Update:

We are accepting referrals for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with our Well-being Practitioner Service in all areas in Cornwall, other than Caradon. Due to a reduction in our Well-being Practitioner team, we are no longer in a position to offer support in the Caradon area.

We are expecting a high demand for this service, therefore once we have received a certain number of referrals for each locality, we will update the referral page to inform you that capacity has been met and no further referrals can be received.

Due to recent demand, we have temporarily closed referrals for Dreadnought support via Kernow Connect in North Cornwall, Caradon and Restormel. We are still accepting referrals for Dreadnought support in Penwith, Kerrier and Carrick, at limited availability.

Direct referrals can still be made to Dreadnought, at a cost.

Alternatively, please contact the Early Help Hub for alternative provision. If a young person is in need of low-level youth work support, they can get in touch with us directly using the information in the Getting Support section - click here . Please check this page in the coming weeks for updates regarding our re-opening.

Please be aware that until the child or young person is activated by the case worker that the risk associated with the child/young person sits with the referrer not Kernow Connect.
