About Islington Short Breaks

Action for Children has been running After School and Holiday clubs for children with complex needs, ASD and other special needs in Camden since 2012.

Our team of trained and experienced staff support children to make independent choices about how to spend their time at Club. The scheme has a structure which enables children to feel safe and fully enjoy their time at Playscheme.

Saturday club- all Saturdays except for Saturdays before and after holiday clubs, 10am to 4pm

Holiday clubs- Half terms, Easter, Summer and Christmas (days at Christmas can vary depending when schools finish) 10am to 4pm. 

It's all about YOU

You will have a chance to choose from lots of activities, such as arts and crafts, music and dancing, gardening, messy and sensory play, storytelling, puzzles and games, science, sports, cooking and so much more!

You'll have the opportunity to go to exciting places including bowling, cinema, museums, farms, adventure playgrounds, canal boat trips, soft play and many more adventures: Playscheme is about YOU having FUN! You can meet new friends, and we always listen to your ideas.

There is plenty to do, we have a sensory room, reading room, home corner, outside you can have a jump on the trampoline, be a pirate on our pirate ship, ride a bike or play football. If it’s a sunny day we can have fun on the bouncy castle or a splash in our paddling pool!
