About Cynnal Plant Powys

Cynnal Plant provides family and behaviour support services across Powys, offering outreach and school based support to referred families.

Our services are provided for children up to the age of 11, plus their parents and carers. The children and young people have additional needs or require additional support, or their parents/carers require support with parenting skills or strategies.

Action for Children Cynnal Plant operates throughout Powys, including Llandrindod Wells, Brecon, Newtown, Ystradgynlais, Machynlleth and Welshpool.

The service is delivered through:

• one-to-one service with children and individual families
• parenting and family support advice within the home and group settings
• training programmes within the home and group settings
• groups where we act either as a co-facilitator or lead agency.
