Family support

Our Family and Behaviour Support Service aims to help young children and their families across Powys.

Support is usually given over a 6-12 week period, and is suitable for children aged 0-11 years old. The Service is provided within the home or at school, with support designed along with the family to suit the needs of the child.

What are the first steps?

We will support your child and your family, at home or in school, to help understand and identify the causes of behaviours and work out ways to bring about change and enhance family life. 

Once we receive a CAF referral form, one of our family support workers will get in touch to arrange a visit. This is an opportunity to discuss what services we can offer and to sign the relevant forms.
